After so much turmoil, she thought leaving California and heading to Georgia to create a better life would be her answer, but mystery and murder hits home. And it doesn’t stop there, when her youngest son Roderick doesn’t learn the lessons from his mother’s experience. He finds himself between love and loyalty, and his relationships take him to the brink of brokenness. There are characters you want to see win and some you love to hate.
A little secret is I wrote Unconditional Counsel while going through a significant identity crisis of who I was in Christ. I loved writing this book, because it narrates my conversion from utter misery to recognizing and dealing with childhood sexual issues I needed to face.
Decisions I made in marriage, which was torment and betrayal to my self-worth and sanity. My relationship with God was teetering on my total abandonment of the faith. There had to be something better for me, so I did the opposite of running and turned to God for answers.
What’s my prayer and hope for Unconditional Counsel? My hope is for individuals to know when you receive Christ into your heart, it doesn’t mean you won’t have temptations or adversities to face. It’s in those adversities, that God is with you to take you through them to victory. That’s the difference Christ affirms in your life, and God’s counsel is the wisest counsel.
